Catsitter unearths a "biohazard" of mess in her proud sister-in-law's kitchen, hilariously blames the cat's mischief so she can clean and avoid any family drama: 'I have no energy for family gossip'

Cats get up to all kinds of mischief when we're out of the house, and this catsitter was going to use this common knowledge as the purrfect leverage to tidy up their in-laws' house. After setting foot in their home to feed their kitty while they were on vacation, this catsitter was horrified to discover a disgustingly dirty kitchen. 

It was not just any mess blocking the sitter's access to the feline's canned food, but there was rotting food, hoards of pests, and a mysteriously sticky walk to the fridge. Who knows how the grossness started, but it was all about to end right here and right now with a clean-freak catsitter on a mission.

  • To avoid a pawtentially disastrous strife with her in-laws, this catsitter decided to blame the kitty for her excessive cleaning. Knowing that the sister-in-law would be ashamed to be called out for her uncouth kitchen, the feline became the source of the blame that would save him from a week-long environment of filth. Sometimes we have to play the enemy to be the hero, and that's exactly the role this kitten played.

  • Small update and some info: First of all, neither of them are my siblings. My husband is the brother of my SIL. MIL who cleaned the house previously is my husband and SIL's mother. I can't message them while they are away due to their location (no signal or WI FI). My SIL and BIL works ridiculous hours and both deal with depre son.

  • Guys, the smell came from who knows how many days (weeks!?) old gravy. GRAVY. According to their meal plan on the fridge last week they had nothing with the gravy. It had its own ecosystem growing in the pot. I swear I think I blacked out a bit trying to clean

  • AlllzLost Clean it! And do NOT tell anyone !!! If SHE tells that's different but You Say Nothing. Also just clean it - don't super clean it or change things. Wash what's dirty, put it away (do Not clean out cabinet) and throw out bad food. Wipe out fridge, hit floors with a quick mop and Be Done .
